Dr. Minnick had the opportunity to participate in experimental eyeglasses for the NASA space program. When Astronaut Joe Tanner returned from STS-82 EV4, he was kind enough to bring Dr. Minnick (a student back then) this photo. He writes, "VANESSA, Your glasses made this view even Better!" Wow, Thank you Mr. Tanner!
