Meibomian Gland imaging and Cornea Analysis

We use our corneal analyzer to examine the entire anterior segment of the eye. With the aid of this exam instructment our doctors can treat patients suffering from dry eye disease, perform specialty hard contact lens fittings, and analyze ortho-K contact lenses for our myopia control patients

Our Cornea Analysis machine is capable of directly analyzing and imaging the Meibomian Glands of the upper and lower eyelids. This image shows exactly how many meibomian glands are functioning properly, which gives our doctors more information about a patient’s MGD compared with previous gland examinations. This allows us to track progress and diagnose meibomian gland dysfunction in a scientific manner. Our corneal analysis technology also helps our doctors fit and evaluate specialty contact lenses for patients with very high prescriptions, patients wearing special contact lenses for dry eye syndrome and for our myopia control patients wearing orthokeratology lenses. Our doctors can actually image the contact lens on the eye and take specific measurements to ensure the contact lens is sitting properly on the eye.
