Amie Nguyen, O.D. received her Doctor of Optometry in 2020 from the University of Houston College of Optometry, and earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from North Carolina State University. During externships with the Community Eye Clinic in Fort Worth, Texas, and the Richmond VA Outpatient Clinic in Richmond, Texas, she received training in primary eyecare, specialty contact lens fitting, refractive and cataract co-management, and ocular diseases, such as age-related macular degeneration, hypertensive and diabetic retinopathies, and glaucoma. She strongly believes in the importance of quality patient care and education, and has always had the desire to help inform and educate her patients about their ocular and systemic health, which enables them to make their best decisions regarding their overall health.

When Dr. Nguyen is not in the office treating patients, she stays active by doing CrossFit, hiking, and traveling. She also enjoys trying new restaurants and spending time with her dogs.
